Sasha Plowman is a versatile performer who thrives at the intersection of technique, and artistry.Originally from Kansas City, Missouri, she now is pursuing her BFA in Commercial Dance at The Boston Conservatory at Berklee. At BOCO she's had the opportunity to work with artist such as Anthony Burrell, Marcus Allen Cobb, and Cherise Barton, and has performed in productions honoring Madonna, The Weeknd, Prince Fleetwood Mac, and at the Berklee commencement concert celebrating Sara Bareilles, André 3000, and Lady Gaga.Beyond performance, Sasha is passionate about the role of dance in social change. Her 2024 dance film Not Our Responsibility—created in response to the presidential election—was selected to open the 2025 National Organization for Women’s Conference. She hopes to continue using dance to challenge injustice and spark dialogue. With dedication to her craft and a belief in dance’s ability to inspire, Sasha strives to build a career that both entertains and empowers.
